Ahmet Türkay Varlı completed his undergraduate education at the Business Administration Department of Gazi University and received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ankara University. Varlı was responsible for bank supervision and surveillance, bank accounting, and bank surveillance methods and techniques at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB), where he worked for 15 years. Varlı contributed to the establishment of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency and acted as the Head of Information Management Department he founded for 10 years. Later, he worked as Advisor to Chairman for 7 years and represented BRSA and Turkey as a Member of the Executive Committee of ROC, which supervises the entire Global Legal Entity Identifier established by the FSB-G20. After working at BRSA for a total of 20 years as supervisor and advisor, Varlı joined the Ozan Electronic Money family as a Board Member.
