Ömer Suner was born in Istanbul, Türkiye in 1976. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Yildiz Technical University Department of Economics, and his Master’s degree in business administration from Yeditepe University. He completed Stanford University’s Endeavour Growth Program, specialising in growth strategies.
Ömer Suner has extensive experience in fintech and marketing. Following a 6-year tenure at BNP Paribas (formerly TEB) and eight years in Samsung Electronics Türkiye as senior marketing director, he co-founded ininal, one of the leading financial technology companies in Türkiye and the region. He acted as CEO and board member for 8 years.
Ömer Suner is currently the Global CEO of Ozan, an Electronic Money Institution, since March 2020.
